Corrections are part of the work

If something is wrong, outdated, missing context, or phrased too broadly, we want to fix it.

How to request a correction

Email corrections@boringanddevastating.com with the page URL, the sentence or section at issue, the requested change, and supporting public sources. If this mailbox is not yet configured or your message bounces, open a public GitHub issue for factual corrections only. Do not include private information or personal stories.

How requests are reviewed

We review correction requests against the source hierarchy in the methodology. Clear factual errors should be corrected promptly. Disputed interpretations may be clarified, narrowed, or attributed more precisely.

Update notes

Material corrections should be reflected on the affected page with an updated review date. Minor copy edits, accessibility fixes, and formatting changes may be made without a public note.
