Pause before you decide

Do these four things, in order

1. You do not have to pay today. Pause before any fee, product order, subscription, event ticket, or licensing cost. You can come back after you read the written facts.
2. Ask for four documents, in writing. Request the income disclosure, full cost list, compensation plan, and cancellation and refund rules. See what to request, and words to use if asking feels hard.
3. Add up the real costs. Money received from a company is not money kept. Compare it with product, fees, tools, travel, and events using the expense worksheet, and read why gross income is not profit.
4. Decide later. A serious opportunity can survive 48 hours of quiet review. If you feel pushed to decide now, here are words you can use.
