This site is designed not to track readers
Boring & Devastating exists to help people think clearly before they spend money, buy product, or involve relationships in an income opportunity. That mission does not require watching readers.
What this site does not use
- No client-side analytics scripts.
- No Cloudflare Web Analytics, Real User Monitoring, or browser beacons.
- No tracking pixels.
- No advertising networks or affiliate links.
- No comments, forms, accounts, or reader story collection.
- No cookies set by this site for analytics or advertising.
What platform data may exist
The site is served through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process basic request metadata to deliver, cache, secure, and operate the site. We may review server-side aggregate platform analytics, such as request counts, status codes, top paths, cache behavior, broad country totals, device categories, and security probes, to keep the site reliable, find broken pages, and understand which public resources are being used.
We do not review individual reader profiles, raw visitor-identifying rows, or browser-side analytics records. We use aggregate operational signals only.
If you use the dark mode button, your browser may store that display preference locally on your device. That preference is not sent to an analytics service.

Correction requests should use corrections@boringanddevastating.com. Please send public sources and page URLs rather than private information or personal stories.
