You are allowed to leave. You do not owe anyone an explanation, and you do not have to do all of this at once. These are calm steps, and every one of them is optional.

Step 1: Pause new spending

Before anything else, stop new orders, events, and tools. This keeps the cost from growing while you look at your options. Nothing else here needs to happen as quickly as this.

Step 2: Find your deadlines

Refund, buyback, and cancellation rules usually have time limits. Read the written policy and note the exact dates. A federal Cooling-Off Rule may give a short window to cancel some sales made at home or at an event, and your state and the company’s own contract may add their own terms. Confirm the dates that apply to you.

Step 3: Cancel recurring charges

Autoship and subscription orders often continue until you cancel them in writing. Keep a copy of the request and the date you sent it. You can use a ready-made cancellation and refund template so you do not have to find the words.

Step 4: Write down what you spent

Step 5: The people part

Leaving can feel hardest because of the relationships. You do not have to argue or explain yourself. A short, kind, final sentence is enough. You are allowed to step back from the opportunity and keep the friendship separate.

Reporting is optional and separate from getting money back.
