Cancellation and exit rules

This page does not tell anyone whether to continue, pause, or leave an MLM. It explains written rules that may matter when someone is trying to understand their account, purchases, subscriptions, or status.

Last reviewed: 2026-06-15

Short answer: Cancellation and exit terms are usually found in the participant agreement, policies, autoship terms, refund policy, and pay plan.

Cooling-off rules

The FTC describes a Cooling-Off Rule for certain sales made at a home, workplace, dorm, or a seller's temporary location. Not every purchase is covered. The FTC consumer page and rule text explain coverage, exclusions, timing, and notice rules. A company policy or state rule may use different terms.

What this page does not prove

This page does not decide whether a specific policy controls, whether a cancellation is valid, whether a charge can be disputed, or whether any person should continue or end a business relationship. Those questions depend on documents, facts, dates, payments, and other rules.
